So, what is a boilgarden?
Boilgardens are a nautrally occuring byproduct created when a community experiences an intense unifying force (Jemisin et al., 2020). These forces can be positive or negative, although the unique factors present in each event will influence the resulting boilgardens. Gardens are generally benign, and add a vibrant splash of life to any community lucky enough to create them!

While boilgardens appear in many forms, by far the most common sight is a collection of glassy, crystaline objects sprouting from surfaces in the affected community. Many who aren't familiar with boilgardens are frightened by these unfamiliar formations popping up in and around their homes, but aside from the dangers posed by occasional sharp edges, these gardens are perfectly safe!
Despite its unusual (and somewhat unnerving!) appearance, this boil formation is completely harmless.
The study of boilgardens is still in its infancy. However, that hasn't stopped a passionate and diverse community from springing up around the phenomenon! All across the world, ameteur gardeners have picked up their shears, put on their straw hats, and jumped headfirst into the wonderful world of these little sprouts!
Some have even dedicated themselves to cultivating artifical boilgardens, often using tools such as the "dripper"!
